If God exists, why is there so much evil going on in the world?

Thought of the day.

People always say, “If God exists, why is there so much evil going on in the world? Why can’t he eliminate evil from happening?”

Anything that is evil is not of God, if it’s not of God, it’s against God. Sin is evil. It’s not of God. So does that include us? If God was to eliminate all evil things, you and I would be ELIMINATED as well because we do evil almost everyday.

Lying, evil thoughts, envy, jealousy, pride, lust, anger, greed, the list goes on on.

But Because of JESUS and His mercy, we aren’t eliminated, but we are forgiven every time we repent with a sincere heart and seek for His forgiveness.

Good Morning!!!

“If a fellow believer hurts you, go and tell him–work it out between the two of you. If he listens, you’ve made a friend.”
Matthew 18:15

A lot of times when we have a dispute or misunderstanding with friends, some may have the attitude of “Well, it’s not my fault, so and so did me wrong…”
We keep a grudge without even approaching the person, to try to resolve the issue. No matter what they did, you should approach the person if they really hurt you, instead of keeping everything bottled up! That will not help the situation at all. We should go to one another if there is a problem…life is too short to keep grudges. Talk it out, forgive and keep moving on!

” What you say to one another is eternal. I mean this. When two of you get together on anything at all on earth and make a prayer of it, my Father in heaven goes into action.”
Matthew 18:18

Sometimes, we speak and think as if God isn’t hearing us. But everything we say will come back to us. Speaking out negative words to hurt someone will only hurt yourself, in the end.

Have a great Monday!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Day #4 “Check Your Heart!”

“Anything that is swallowed works its way through the intestines and is finally defecated. But what comes out of the mouth gets its start in the heart. It is from the heart that we vomit up evil arguments, murders, adulteries, fornication, thefts, lies, and cussing. That is what pollutes. Eating or not eating certain foods, washing or not washing your hands–that’s neither here or there.”

This is from “The Message” by Eugene  Peterson. That passage was taken from the Book of Matthews when Jesus was talking to Peter when he was told by his disciples that the Pharisees were upset when they heard Jesus say,” it’s not what you swallow that pollutes your life, but what you vomit.”

If your heart is hardened, how can God use you?
If your heart is full of pain, how can you allow someone to love you?
If your heart is full of worry and stress, how can you be free?
If your heart is so full of anger and hatred toward someone, you’ve already murdered that person.

If your heart isn’t right, how can YOU be right?

Proverbs 4: 23 says,
“Above all else, guard your heart, for it is the wellspring of life.”

Meaning that, your heart will affect everything you do!
Be careful what and who you let into your heart!
Be Blessed!

Weakness

I can only trust in Him. Some days I wonder, how I will make it out of certain situations, but I can only depend on Him. I talk to Him, He listens. I trust Him, I trust that my God will be with me every step of the way.
No matter how small it may be, asking God for strength and guidance will not hurt you.

People often think that when they are weak, God cannot use them. But He can, He wants to. He doesn’t wait for you to be perfect before He can use you! God is just wanting on you. He’s ready to strengthen us when we are weak.

God’s strength is made perfect when we are weak.

I learned not to turn to other people or other things when I am weak. I simply tell God that I am weak and need His strength .
That I need Him.

I turn to God. Only Him, can give me the answer or comfort that I seek.

We weren’t created perfect, so things will not always go as we would like them to. It’s important to recognize when we’ve failed, backslid, fallen into temptation and admit our weakness to God, so that He may help us get through whatever situation we are in.

“God give me the strength to carry on.
Give me the strength not to let go.
The strength to keep on striving.
The patience to wait…

I trust You…

Cover Me…Song of Psalms

A song for my Savior.

Cover me, when it all crashes in;
Love me, when my love life’s thin.
I run to you and, when I hit your heart,
You guard me, guide me, hide me.

You’re my best, my top, my number one;
I’m just earth but I orbit round your sun.
You’re my first, my thirst, my once, my only:
All I’ve got is from what you’ve done!

All the buzz, the vibe, the good, the fine,
The more, the most, the rest;
All the rhythm, the tone, from you, all the time–
All I’ve got from you is the best.

Respect for God is purity, lasts through eternity.
God’s orders are secure, make the right thing sure.
The price is more than gold; the taste, fresh honey sold.
They keep the warning strong.
Their bonus lasts long.

May my heart’s response
Bring a smile to your face, my God,
My security, my sponsor.

Thank Him

Today, every chance you get, thank Him, the Almighty King. The one who rules over the Universe and all things.

Worship and Praise Him by simply giving thanks unto Him who created the Heavens and The Earth. When you wake up, while you walk; every moment you get–Thank Him.

Sometimes people think that you have to be in prayer for 2 hours to be intimate with him.Not necessarily entirely true.  Talk to Him all day, don’t leave his side. In every situation and decision, include Him in it. That’s what I’m doing–including Him in every move and learning how to stay by his side at all times.

He Rules.

He Reigns.

What’s done in the Darkness is always exposed in the Light!

I had a discussion today with a couple of my classmates about the issue of preachers portraying to be a certain “Perfect Image.” With what’s going on with Bishop Long, even if the allegations turn out to be false, I believe that people will be more careful of how they look at their pastors or leaders. We must always remember that no one is perfect, they are all humans striving to become better each day. No one should ever think that they are perfect, but at the same time we should always keep an open mind! Anything is possible. I’m sure that there are tons of people in this world living double lives. I’ve met many people, and still know many people around me who are living  a double life. Funny thing is that they don’t think anyone else knows about their double lives!!! I know a man cheating on his wife with her nephews!! SICK! But the truth will come out sooner or later–same as for the Atlanta Bishop, Eddie Long!

My prayers goes out to everyone living a “DOUBLE LIFE”

Always remember that what you do in the dark shall come to LIGHT, because God is an Honest God.!

What you got to say about this? Drop your thoughts!
