If God exists, why is there so much evil going on in the world?

Thought of the day.

People always say, “If God exists, why is there so much evil going on in the world? Why can’t he eliminate evil from happening?”

Anything that is evil is not of God, if it’s not of God, it’s against God. Sin is evil. It’s not of God. So does that include us? If God was to eliminate all evil things, you and I would be ELIMINATED as well because we do evil almost everyday.

Lying, evil thoughts, envy, jealousy, pride, lust, anger, greed, the list goes on on.

But Because of JESUS and His mercy, we aren’t eliminated, but we are forgiven every time we repent with a sincere heart and seek for His forgiveness.

How do you let your positivity stand out?

Seek God…cling to Him. Only Him can help you stand out, shine and sparkle in the mist of darkness or a tough situation.

 Lean on Him.

Lean on Him right now with your head pressed down to His shoulders.

He’ll come through for you.

He knows what you need.

Day # 1. What’s Been On Your Mind Lately?

Come with me on a journey of 77 days, where I’ll be daily writing about the power of thoughts, renewing the mind, overcoming flesh, spirit vs. flesh and truly getting to know God.
This is day # 1

This morning I meditated on the power of thoughts.
What’s been on your mind lately?

“Those who are dominated by the sinful nature think about sinful things, but those who are controlled by the Holy Spirit think about things that please the Spirit. If your sinful nature controls your mind, there is death. But if the Holy Spirit controls your mind, there is life and peace. For the sinful nature is always hostile to God. It never did obey God’s laws, and it never will. That’s why those who are still under the control of their sinful nature can never please God.” Romans 8:5-8

A. People may sometimes wonder why they repeatedly do the things which they said they would no longer do. Well, like the Word says; it might be because they are still controlled by their sinful nature. Our thoughts have to mirror the word of God. In order for our thoughts to change, we must meditate on the Word of God. That is the only way. If you listen to music that talks about sex all day, chances are, sex will be on your mind and will swim around in your thoughts. Every action begins with a thought.
That is just one example.

B. Also, we must renew our minds. Sometimes people think that as long as they are only thinking it, there is no harm, but that is incorrect. Because every sin begins with a thought.
You thought, and then you acted.
Not the other way around.
SO, what’s been on your mind lately? That might explain some of the things you do. If there was a big screen TV revealing everything that has been on your mind, would it be pleasing to God?

Just a thought for you to start out your day.

Weakness

I can only trust in Him. Some days I wonder, how I will make it out of certain situations, but I can only depend on Him. I talk to Him, He listens. I trust Him, I trust that my God will be with me every step of the way.
No matter how small it may be, asking God for strength and guidance will not hurt you.

People often think that when they are weak, God cannot use them. But He can, He wants to. He doesn’t wait for you to be perfect before He can use you! God is just wanting on you. He’s ready to strengthen us when we are weak.

God’s strength is made perfect when we are weak.

I learned not to turn to other people or other things when I am weak. I simply tell God that I am weak and need His strength .
That I need Him.

I turn to God. Only Him, can give me the answer or comfort that I seek.

We weren’t created perfect, so things will not always go as we would like them to. It’s important to recognize when we’ve failed, backslid, fallen into temptation and admit our weakness to God, so that He may help us get through whatever situation we are in.

“God give me the strength to carry on.
Give me the strength not to let go.
The strength to keep on striving.
The patience to wait…“

I trust You…

Wrap me in your arms!

I stand.
I sit.
And I wait,
For the right time. I wait for You. I wait for Your Grace. I wait for Your hand that will lead the way. I await for You to shine in my life. I await for the right time. That is all I can do. I wait.

I wait until you will allow.
I wait until it’ time.
I wait for Your hand to then let me go.
Until then, I am wrapped up.
Wrapped up in Your arms.

There’s shelter there….
There’s peace.
Love.
Security.

Wrap me in your arms, Lord!
Amen.

I Never Knew You!

Today, what I was reading about in my Bible really touched me and stayed with me. I just wanted to share with you all.
I was reading Matthew 7:21-24.

It says, “They may refer to me as ‘Lord’, but will not enter the Kingdom of God. The decisive issue is whether they obey my Father in Heaven. On Judgment day many will tell me, “Lord, Lord, we prophesied in your name and cast out demons in your name and performed many miracles in your name.” But I will reply, “I never knew you. Go, away; the things you did were unauthorized.”

Ouch.
Unauthorized?
Can you imagine God telling you this!??

Hum, I don’t know if it is just me, but that stung me. “I never knew you, Go away, the things you did were unauthorized.”
Can you imagine, how many of us out there are doing things unauthorized, proclaiming that it is actually of God. We gotta be careful now days. “Not all people who sound religious are really godly.” I know that I am a struggling Christian, who wants more of God and I am seeking to know Him. To find who He truly is, I have a burning desire to see His face, and to dwell in His presence for eternity. I want to please God.

I think it is time that people start to take their walk with God more seriously. It is the end of times, and God is still waiting for you with open arms.
You don’t want to get to the gates of Heaven and have God saying that he never knew you. Do you actually think that anyone will feel sorry for you?
No. At that time, it is too late. You’d had your time on earth to live right. I used to think, “Man this whole Christian thing is too complicated, I just don’t have time for all that praying and Bible reading.”
But I got to the point where, I can’t imagine life without Him. I believe that God is so real, life experience–HE is REAL.
How can you go on without speaking to Him?
Even for two minutes, speak to him..he’s waiting.
There are many Christians who are anointed!!! So anointed, but in reality they are just religious folks who are not living what they preach.Yes, God can use anyone, but that does not mean that that person will inherit the Kingdom of God…
Start reflecting about your life….
Are you feeding your spirit or your flesh?
Daily, I remind myself that I am not of this world, and I ask God to kill my flesh and whatever is pleasing it…and I feed my spirit with the Word of God. It is the only way. And every time I do not read my Bible and pray like I should, I find it difficult to go on with my day, I end up angry or doing, watching, reading things that hinder me.
So… make it impossible to go on without God.

They want to take over the world..

As you all rise this morning, don’t forget to rise with God.
Thank Him for the day, at least. The end of the year is near, try to end the year in His presence!!!

I rose, eager to worship
Eager to enter your presence.
Eager to hear from you,
To feel your heartbeat.

They want to take over the world.
They seem to be everywhere.
They seem to be all around us.

In our Ipods, radio stations, tv’s, sports, dances, books, conversations, businesses, commercials.

SO

Where are the Christians?
Where are the God chasers?
When will they stand up?

I rose eager to worship.
Eager to fill my spirit with peace.
Peace that only comes from you.

I’m on Fire for You Lord.
Who’s with me?

Without you,
I can no longer go on…
Be with us in this time,
That has slipped away from us.

They want to take over the world.

But we will not let them!
I will not let them!

Christ is the answer…

Let Him play the Leading Role..you play the Background

This weekend I had the opportunity to go see  Clique 116 (Lecrae, Pro, tedashii, Trip Lee) in concert.

It was a great experience. As Christians, it’s good to have music that will remind you each day of who you should be serving and how. One song from Lecrae’s new album “REHAB” that stayed with me is “Background”  A lot of times, we want to lead and never allow God to be the leader. Our job is to let Him in and to let Him lead. We can’t control our entire life, we have to learn how to completely let go and depend on Him. We must learn how to be true followers and play in the background. At the end of the day, God decides which side the dice will fall on.

Thank Him

Today, every chance you get, thank Him, the Almighty King. The one who rules over the Universe and all things.

Worship and Praise Him by simply giving thanks unto Him who created the Heavens and The Earth. When you wake up, while you walk; every moment you get–Thank Him.

Sometimes people think that you have to be in prayer for 2 hours to be intimate with him.Not necessarily entirely true.  Talk to Him all day, don’t leave his side. In every situation and decision, include Him in it. That’s what I’m doing–including Him in every move and learning how to stay by his side at all times.

He Rules.

He Reigns.
