Why would God send you somebody to love when you don’t even know who you are?

You know…in life, there’s no point of envying other people or getting mad at the world because you don’t have what you want!
Each thing at his own timing.
If all of your friends are getting blessed, be happy for them! When your turn comes, you’ll want them to be happy for you too.
I have a good example I heard from a friend:

When the postal man comes to deliver your mail daily, he starts at the first house and goes down the street.  Even though he’s still far away and is not at your house yet, you can hear him coming and know that soon, you’ll have your mail. chacun son tour. Your time will come.  So don’t be stressed and worried when you don’t see what you’ve been praying about just yet.
God knows what you can and cannot handle and if He gave you what you wanted now, you probably wouldn’t know what to do with it!
1. Be patient.
2. Know how to discern your desires and His desires.
3. Don’t be jealous or envying of what other people have.

Prepare yourself while you’re in waiting.
If you’re waiting for a new job/promotion–work hard so you can get there. Find ways to get better at what you do while you still can. Be the best at it.
If you’re waiting for your mate, prepare yourself first. Get your life together and better yourself, your relationship with God, and everything else around you, so that when the right person comes along, your life will be where it needs to be.
Why would God send you somebody to love when you don’t even know who you are?

Just think about it.
Have a goodnight.

Thought of the DAY!

YES, I’M STILL ALIVE:-)

THOUGHT OF THE DAY:

Are you where you thought you’d be 5 years ago?

If not, why? How come?

I realized that some people get so caught up in becoming who they’ve always wanted to become even after yearsssssss have passed that they miss out on opportunities and new doors that God opens for them. (I’m guilty of that)

Don’t feel miserable about not being where you thought you’d be. Instead, be open for new opportunities. It may have been what YOU wanted and not necessarily what GOD wanted! Be spirit LED! Not fleshly LED!

WORRY

Sometimes it’s so easy to get so worn out for nothing.

We worry as if it would change a situation.

We stress like it’s going to solve the issue.

We get frustrated like it’s going to make us feel better.

Matthew 6:34  Therefore do not be anxious about tomorrow, for tomorrow will be anxious for itself. Sufficient for the day is its own trouble.

Worry does not empty tomorrow of its sorrow. It empties today of its strength.- Corrie Ten Boom

Happy New Year!

HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!!

Last year was a great productive year for me with my writing, and I thank all of my readers, and supporters for your love and support! You guys are great.

Remember what I said about resolutions. Be real with yourself:-)

I’m looking forward to this year.

ARE YOU?

If God exists, why is there so much evil going on in the world?

Thought of the day.

People always say, “If God exists, why is there so much evil going on in the world? Why can’t he eliminate evil from happening?”

Anything that is evil is not of God, if it’s not of God, it’s against God. Sin is evil. It’s not of God. So does that include us? If God was to eliminate all evil things, you and I would be ELIMINATED as well because we do evil almost everyday.

Lying, evil thoughts, envy, jealousy, pride, lust, anger, greed, the list goes on on.

But Because of JESUS and His mercy, we aren’t eliminated, but we are forgiven every time we repent with a sincere heart and seek for His forgiveness.

Good DAY!!!!!

Stop sitting and sleeping on your God-given gift.

I hope you all had a wonderful Christmas.:-) I did.

This year went by too fast, it kinds of baffles me.  2012 is already here…

Wow.

Anyway, yesterday I did a solo at my church S.O.S and it was great. It felt really nice to be dancing again. It had been a while since I danced because of health issues among other things, but I felt so alive when I danced yesterday. I don’t know if any of you ever felt that way about something you love to do. When I dance, I feel so free and liberated. It’s something I can’t describe, but I thank God for this gift. I didn’t realize how much I missed it until yesterday.

I’ve taken it for granted lately, but after I danced, people were weeping, touched the spirit of God and the anointing; I was so speechless. I didn’t realize what God would do through my dance. It’s like I had forgotten the vision.

“Don’t you dare ever stop dancing. That is truly your God-given talent. It’s so natural,” someone said to me after church.

Seriously, I‘ve taken this gift lightly lately, so when I saw how people were moved by my dance, I was flabbergasted.  But it gave me a wakeup call.

Stop sitting and sleeping on your God-given gift.

“Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and cometh down from the Father of lights, with whom is no variableness, neither shadow of turning.”
James 1:1

“It is the one and only Spirit who distributes all these gifts. He alone decides which gift each person should have.”
1 Corinthians 12:11

If you know there is a gift inside of you that God gave you, please, please, please, use it. You don’t want God to take it away from you.  Or Him asking you at the gates of Heaven, “What did you do with what I gave you? Your gifts?”

What will be your response? “Nothing” ????????

It doesn’t have to be dancing, singing, or playing instruments. Maybe you were gifted with cooking skills that he wants you to use it in a certain way or counseling people. If you think you don’t have a gift, think again. And if you still don’t think you have a gift, pray about it so that God may reveal it you.

“In his grace, God has given us different gifts for doing certain things well. So if God has given you the ability to prophesy, speak out with as much faith as God has given you.”
Romans 12:

I know what I know. And it’s that I love dancing. Nothing can change that. Not you, not my age, not your mom, or anyone. But it’s not just any dancing. It’s ministry. Dance Ministry. I dance for my King. Yes, I used to do any kind of dancing in my past.  But then God began to reveal to me why He gave me this gift. The divinity in my dance. Now I dance with a reason. I dance with a passion. I dance because I have to. It’s a need.  It’s the Artistic Freedom within me, ready to be released for His Glory.

“For God’s gifts and his call can never be withdrawn.”
Romans 11:29

Blessing to you on this day.

DOING WHAT YOU LOVE!!!!

THOUGHT OF THE DAY

Why waste so much time and energy doing what you hate when you could be doing what you love?

ACTION

Whatever it is that is stopping you from getting to where you desire, make a plan to get there. If it’s getting a degree to get there, do it! Don’t be discouraged by the years it’ll take. Time flies. If it’s moving up the ladder at your job, work your butt off. Go out of your way: get to work early, stay late, work hard. If it’s starting a business, then start saving money for the business; learn about the business, research the business, and ask around. Cut out some expenses. Think smart.

There’s always a way. Pray about, get direction from God, get some wisdom from the Word of God, and apply it to your life.

Do your part, and God will do the rest!

Night night!

Letting go!!! Did you, really???

What’s up, Fam?
I know, I keep disappearing on you, guys. (Sigh)

Anyway, I want to bring up an interesting topic.

The importance of letting go.

Letting go is one of the hardest thing  a person can deal with.
I agree that it’s not the easiest thing in the world, but sometimes, it IS for the best.
If you continue to hold on to people whose time has come to an end, things might just end ugly in the end.

Who are you having a hard time letting go?
Maybe it’s not someone, maybe it’s something.
What is that ONE thing that you MUST let go?
What’s holding you back from setting it free?
I know…it’s difficult. Trust, I’ve dealt with it too. It may take time, but once you really LET GO of what/whoever it is God asked you to release long ago, you’ll feel renewed, refreshed, and like a new start is before you.

When you hold on to things/people who God no longer wants in your life, you’re only making things more complicated and whoever is involved might end up getting hurt in the end, yourself included.

It’s not always about what YOU want or how YOU feel.
There’s more to life than satisfying yourself. If you disagree , then you’re missing the whole point.

Anyway, guys, stay safe and Happy Holidays.
I’ll be back soon. Tomorrow?? Maybe?
I need to write about what’s going on in D.R. Congo….smh. It’s way over my head that I don’t even know where to begin! Getting my thoughts together!!!! Soon and very soon!

Night, Fam! :-)
