Who is Déborah N. Kabwang?

I am a Writer, Dancer, and Choreographer. I received my Bachelor of Arts Degree in English with a minor in Dance from Texas Woman’s University in Denton, TX and I am currently a graduate student at Wilkes University MA-MFA Creative Writing program. I was born in Paris, France and now  live in the Dallas-Ft Worth area.

I enjoy writing fiction, creative non-fiction, screenplays, poetry and anything my heart is set on writing. I started writing in my early teen years. I would lock myself up in my room and write lyrics and screenplays; it then developed into something that I had to do all the time! I then fell in love with fiction and became  a fiction-lover. Writing became a critical need for me and it is my freedom of expression. Oh, the craft of writing….what a beauty!

 I also spend a lot of time in the presene of God; I love to minister and make the name of JESUS more famous and known. I’m an ambassador of Christ–and I’m not ashamed. Whether I’m dancing or writing, God is the reason. Through everything that I do, I want to inspire and motivate people.
