I was having a conversation with a really good friend of mine and we were discussing ENVY and JEALOUSY.
A slice of pizza may look so delicious on the outside, but really nasty once you put it in your mouth.
A car may look beautiful on the outside, but once you drive it, everything falls apart.
Someone may seem to have it all together on the outside, but you don’t know what they’re really going through or what they did to get to where they are.
This is all to say, DON’T ENVY. Because you don’t know what you’re really envying.
Yes, admire, acknowledge what God is doing in someone’s life, but don’t envy.
Be careful what you wish for.
Everything isn’t always as it seems.
“A tranquil heart gives life to the flesh, but ENVY makes the bones rot.”
Goodnight or good morning!
